dispositivo de auto limpeza e método para a filtragem contínua de fluidos de alta viscosidade. a presente invenção refere-se a dispositivo de auto limpeza e a método de filtragem contínua de contaminantes a partir de um fluido viscoso contaminado, o método pode incluir: bombear o fluido viscoso contaminado entre uma superfície não perfurada, sendo um primeiro cilindro, e uma segunda superfície perfurada, sendo um segundo cilindro, dispostos substancialmente em paralelo um ao outro em um primeiro espaço definido, mover a superfície não perfurada e a superfície perfurada com relação uma à outra em uma velocidade relativa definida, no qual o segundo corpo cilíndrico inclui uma ou mais aletas longitudinais que se projetam a partir do segundo corpo cilíndrico para dentro do primeiro espaço, na direção da superfície perfurada do primeiro corpo cilíndrico formando, assim, um segundo espaço entre as pontas distais das aletas e a superfície perfurada, forçando, assim, o movimento do fluido viscoso contaminado em uma direção substancialmente paralela à velocidade relativa e gerando, assim, uma taxa de cisalhamento no fluido viscoso contaminado perto da superfície perfurada na direção substancialmente paralela à velocidade relativa.
