Abstract
método para tratar água para reduzir o teor de sílica dissolvida da mesma. trata-se de um método para tratar água para reduzir o teor de sílica dissolvida da mesma, sendo que o método é caracterizado pelo fato de que compreende pelo menos uma etapa para adsorver a sílica dissolvida, sendo que a etapa consiste em passar a água através de um reator que aloja um material granular adsorvente que consiste em grãos de hidróxido de ferro (iii) e/ou oxi-hidróxido de ferro (iii) e pelo menos uma etapa para regenerar a potência de adsorção do material granular, sendo que a etapa consiste em colocar o material granular em contato com uma base e pelo menos um cloreto.
