Abstract

A presente invenção se refere a um método de operação de um filtro prensa (1), em que material de filtro é alimentado para uma câmara de filtro (2) de maneira tal a formar uma torta de filtro entre pelo menos duas laterais de um meio filtrante flexível (3). Filtrado é recebido a partir da câmara de filtro (2) e uma torta de filtro formada na câmara de filtro (2) é descarregada. Antes da descarga da torta de filtro, compressão é aplicada sobre a torta de filtro formada dentro da câmara de filtro por provisão de gás de fluido de compressão em uma pressão de compressão excedendo uma pressão prevalecente dentro da câmara de filtro, diretamente sobre uma lateral do meio filtrante (3) exterior para a câmara de filtro (2), de maneira tal a exercer referida pressão de compressão diretamente sobre referida lateral do meio filtrante, por intermédio disso provocando que o meio filtrante (3) venha a ceder contra a torta de filtro. Um filtro prensa é também de interesse.
