Abstract
a presente invenção refere-se a dispositivos médicos e métodos para substituir por via endovascular ou através de um cateter a válvula cardíaca de um paciente, incluindo: um sistema de envio (9) que tem um perfil de entrada de 30 fr ou menos; um anel anular (10) autoexpansível disposto no sistema de envio (9) incluindo uma estrutura de ancoragem e fixação autoexpansível e múltiplos elementos de ponte (4) conectados à estrutura de ancoragem e fixação; e uma válvula cardíaca de substituição (11) disposta no sistema de envio (9) e conectada aos elementos de ponte (4). os elementos de ponte (4) são formados de um material de memória de formato; durante o posicionamento, os elementos de ponte (4) se dobram para cima no interior da estrutura de ancoragem e fixação autoexpansível para colocar a válvula cardíaca de substituição em posição. a presente invenção também inclui um método para substituir por via endovascular ou através de um cateter uma válvula cardíaca (11) de um paciente.
