Abstract

A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo com uma estrutura de estente (2), a qual está prevista para inserção em vasos sanguíneos (6) intracranianos do corpo humano ou animal, sendo que a estrutura de estente (2) apresenta um estado expandido, no qual ela pode encostar na parede interna do vaso sanguíneo (6), e um estado comprimido, no qual ela pode ser movimentada através do vaso sanguíneo (6) dentro de um microcateter (4), sendo que a estrutura de estente (2) está ligada a um auxílio de inserção (3) e sendo que a estrutura de estente (2) pode fazer transição para o estado expandido independentemente após liberação de dentro do micocateter (4), sendo que a estrutura de cateter (2) apresenta condutores elétricos (13), através dos quais impulsos elétricos, impulsos de alta frequência ou impulsos de ultrassom podem ser aplicados sobre fibras nervosas que passam na parede vascular do vaso sanguíneo (6), para reduzir a função das fibras nervosas provisoriamente ou permanentemente e prevenir um vaso espasmo ou tratar este.
