Abstract

a invenção refere-se a um adsorvente zeolítico sob forma de aglomerados, tendo: - um fator de tortuosidade t, calculado a partir da distribuição porosa determinada por porosimetria por intrusão de mercúrio estritamente superior a 1 e estritamente inferior a 3, - uma porosidade ep, determinada por porosimetria mercúrio, compreendida entre 25% e 35%, onde vma designa o volume macroporoso, vme o volume mesoporoso e vg, o volume de grão do adsorvente, em cm3.g-1. a invenção refere-se igualmente ao seu processo de preparação e um processo de separação de para-xileno a partir de frações de isômeros de hidrocarbonetos aromáticos contendo 8 átomos de carbono por adsorção do para-xileno por meio do referido adsorvente.
