a presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de assistência à ressuscitação cardiopulmonar que é usado por um socorrista ao administrar ressuscitação cardiopulmonar a um paciente. com o uso dos sinais vitais de socorrista, uma subseção de imagem a partir de uma câmera voltada para o paciente pode ser identificada, a qual compreende as mãos do socorrista. tendo sido identificadas corretamente as subseções de imagem que compreendem as mãos do socorrista, a profundidade de compressão torácica e a frequência podem ser derivadas da câmera voltada para o paciente mediante o rastreamento da distância entre a câmera voltada para o paciente e as mãos do socorrista.
