trata-se de um processo para polimerizar ou copolimerizar monômeros etilenicamente insaturados em pressões na faixa de 110 mpa a 500 mpa em uma linha de produção que compreende um reator de polimerização operado continuamente, em que o processo compreende monitorar o entorno da linha de produção em relação a uma ocorrência de um vazamento de monômeros ou de mistura de reação por uma disposição de detector de ponto de ir de pelo menos três grupos de detectores de ponto de ir que são capazes de detectar hidrocarbonetos e os grupos de detectores de ponto de ir operam de acordo com uma lógica de votação e iniciam automaticamente um programa de liberação de pressão de emergência quando um grupo de detectores de ponto de ir da disposição de detector de ponto de ir detecta a presença de hidrocarbonetos.
