Abstract

a presente invenção refere-se a um método para melhorar a produtividade de uma planta modificando-se geneticamente o genoma da planta para que superexpresse pelo menos uma proteína relacionada à autofagia (atg) selecionada a partir do grupo que consiste em atg5 e atg7. a invenção provê ainda uma planta geneticamente modificada caracterizada pela superexpressão de pelo menos uma proteína relacionada à autofagia (atg) selecionada a partir do grupo que consiste em atg5 e atg7. adicionalmente, a invenção descreve o uso de um transgene que codifica pelo menos uma proteína relacionada à autofagia (atg) selecionada a partir do grupo que consiste em atg5 e atg7 pa-ra melhorar a produtividade de uma planta.
