Abstract

uma lente de adição progressiva oftálmica para um usuário míope ou emetrópico e presbiópico que tem uma potência de refração média de visão de longe prescrita e uma adição prescrita sem ser de zero, addp, a referida lente tendo um ponto de referência de visão de longe, uma potência de refração média, ppo(a, ß), um módulo de astigmatismo resultante, asr(a, ß), uma linha meridiana, ml(a, ß), as referidas funções (a, ß) sendo determinadas em condições "as-worn" (como usado) da lente pelo usuário para direções do olhar fixo (a, ß) unindo o centro de rotação do olho, cro, e a lente, onde a corresponde a um ângulo de redução em graus e ß corresponde a um ângulo de azimute em graus, e em que um critério de lente, a1/a2, cumpre o seguinte requisito: a1/a2 = 0,50, onde: a1 = a100% - a85%; a2 = a100% - a60%.
