Abstract
a presente invenção refere-se um processo para a operação de um sensor do número de rotações, em particular, de um veículo automóvel, com um anel emissor de sinais que apresenta vários elementos magnéticos dispostos distribuídos por sua circunferência com orientação alternada e com um receptor de sinais, que apresenta pelo menos dois elementos de sensor (sl,sm,sr) para detectar o campo magnético dos ímãs, sendo que os elementos de sensor (sl,sm,sr) são dispostos uniformemente separados um do outro, e sendo que, em dependência da intensidade do campo magnético detectada pelos elementos de sensor (sl,sm,sr), são criados bits de informação e disponibilizados como sinal de informação normal do número de rotações. é previsto, em um baixo número de rotações, que pelo menos um sinal de informação do número adicional de rotações seja gerado e adicionado ao sinal de informação do número de rotações. esse sinal adicional consiste em impulsos adicionais do número de rotações, que são inseridos entre dois respectivos impulsos normais do número de rotações. através disso, são disponibilizados vários impulsos do número de rotações por período do anel emissor, de modo que seja possível uma elevada resolução da determinação da velocidade.
