Abstract

a presente invenção se refere para um processo e para a respectiva instalação para tratamento térmico de sólidos granulares, em particular para produção de óxido de alumínio a partir de hidróxido de alumínio no qual os sólidos são aquecidos em pelo menos num estágio de pré-aquecimento e, então, são reagidos em um reator em 700 0c até 1.400 0c. em concordância com a presente invenção, em pelo menos um estágio de pré-aquecimento, o gradiente de temperatura média dos sólidos quantifica para < 15 k/s e o tempo de permanência dos sólidos quantifica para = 15 s.
