Abstract
para melhorar drasticamente a funcionalidade do controle de fluxo, mancais de meio poroso com gás externamente pressurizado são introduzidos nas válvulas. os mancais de meio poroso com gás mitigam dois dos maiores problemas com a tecnologia atual, que são: (1) vazamento de emissões de fuga; e (2) altos valores de torque de descolamento para o acionamento das válvulas. empregando-se mancais de meio poroso com gás externamente pressurizado, as emissões de fuga são completamente eliminadas, e as válvulas podem ser giradas sem esforço devido à natureza sem contato dos mancais de meio poroso com gás.
