a invenção refere-se a um permutador de calor de casco e tubo (1), no qual um feixe de tubo (2) constituído por uma pluralidade de tubos (20, 22, 27) que tem pelo menos uma base de tubo (25; 26) está disposto em um espaço de casco (3), a fim de poder aumentar a área do permutador de calor sem ter que aumentar o diâmetro total de um permutador de calor de casco e tubo. o permutador de calor de casco e tubo (1) está delimitado para o lado externo por uma superfície de casco (31) e tem um eixo longitudinal (33) que se estende centralmente no espaço de casco, em torno do qual um canal interno (21) livre de tubos é projetado, e em que um canal externo (23), que está livre de tubos, é projetado no interior, adjacente à superfície de casco (31), em que o feixe de tubo (2) compreende pelo menos dois componentes de feixe de tubos (50 51, 2, 53, 54) entre o canal interno (21) e o canal externo (23), que diferem quanto ao número de tubos por área e/ou ao diâmetro externo dos tubos e / ou à distância dos tubos.
