Abstract
a presente invenção refere-se a um equipamento de usuário (ue) que é configurado para enviar um pedido para usar um modo de economia de energia melhorada (epsm) a uma entidade de gerenciamento de mobilidade (mme) de uma rede de comunicações móveis. o ue é configurado para receber parâmetros de configuração desde a mme incluindo um período de tempo para um modo inativo e um período de tempo para um modo de economia de energia. o ue é configurado para alternar entre o modo inativo e o modo de economia de energia com base nos parâmetros de modo de economia de energia, em que o ue se encontra disponível para receber transmissões durante o modo inativo e indisponível para receber transmissões durante o modo de economia de energia.
