Abstract

uma membrana de peneira molecular de carbono (cms) é produzida por pirólise, até uma temperatura máxima de pirólise tp, uma membrana de fibra oca tendo uma bainha polimérica envolvendo um núcleo polimérico, as partículas de colapso anti-subestrutura presentes nos poros formados no núcleo polimérico ajudam a evitar o colapso dos poros formados na membrana de fibra oca antes da pirólise. as partículas de colapso anti-subestrutura são feitas de um material ou materiais que: i) têm uma temperatura de transição vítrea tg superior a tp, ii) têm um ponto de fusão superior a tp, ou ii) são completamente decompostos termicamente durante o referido passo de pirólise a uma temperatura inferior a tp. as partículas de colapso anti-subestrutura não são solúveis num solvente utilizado para a dissolução do material polimérico do núcleo.
