Abstract
é descrito um método para a produção de d-eritrose e acetilfosfato, que compreende a conversão enzimática de d-frutose em d-eritrose e acetilfosfato fazendo uso de uma fosfocetolase. a d-eritrose produzida pode ainda ser convertida em glicolaldeído por um método para a produção de glicolaldeído que compreende a conversão enzimática de d-eritrose em glicolaldeído fazendo uso de uma aldolase, em que a referida aldolase é uma 2-desoxirribose-5-fosfato aldolase (ec 4.1.2.4) ou uma frutose-bisfosfato aldolase (ec 4.1.2.13). o glicolaldeído produzido pode finalmente ser convertido em acetilfosfato por conversão enzimática do assim produzido glicolaldeído em acetilfosfato, fazendo uso de uma fosfocetolase ou de uma sulfoacetaldeído acetiltransferase.
