Abstract
MÉTODO PARA INSPECIONAR UMA CAVIDADE INUNDADA DENTRO DE UMA ESTRUTURA, E, KIT DE PARTES. Um corpo de conexão rosqueado (20) é soldado na superfície externa da parede (10) de um tubo, uma saída de água ou uma outra cavidade inundada (4) dentro do casco de um navio ou uma instalação flutuante fora da costa. Um aparelho de corte vedado (50) é montado através de uma unidade de válvula (30) no corpo de conexão e um cortador estendido através da válvula aberta (34) para formar uma abertura (18) na parede (10). Após a retração do cortador e fechando a válvula (34), o aparelho de corte é substituído por uma unidade de inspeção vedada (70) tendo uma câmara (71) que é estendida através da válvula e a abertura para inspecionar a cavidade (4). Depois de retrair a câmara e fechar a válvula, a unidade de inspeção é substituída por uma unidade de implantação de tampão (100), que é usada para avançar um tampão (120) através da válvula aberta e rosquear o mesmo no corpo de conexão (20). A unidade de válvula (30) pode então ser removida e substituída por um tampão (90) de modo que o tampão e a tampa proporcionam uma vedação dupla ao corpo de conexão.
