resumo da patente de invenção para: “painel solar tridimensional térmico ou fotovoltaico com holografia incorporada”. encontra-se descrito um painel solar com cavidades ou estruturas unitárias tridimensionais (3d) concebidas inteiramente de materiais plásticos, e aplicáveis tanto a painel solar térmico como a módulo solar fotovoltaico. a diferença entre ambos os casos é que, no primeiro, a estrutura incorpora tubulações (6) para um fluido portador de calor, enquanto que, no segundo, está dotada de células solares fotovoltaicas (8). também é diferente o tipo de material com o qual estão construídos: mesmo sendo de materiais plásticos ou polímeros todo o painel em ambos os casos, a aplicação solar térmica utiliza materiais com condutividade térmica muito baixa para conservar o calor, enquanto que a fotovoltaica é concebida de materiais de condutividade térmica elevada precisamente para dissipar calor e evitar diminuição da eficiência das células por aquecimento. o conjunto é muito leve, por ser concebido de materiais plásticos, e, além disso, evita a necessidade de armações de alumínio, ou sistemas de fixação externos, visto que a rigidez está garantida pela própria estrutura, e a injeção plástica permite incorporar diretamente qualquer sistema de fixação ou aderência. também permite acrescentar qualquer furo para a interconexão de células solares. por outro lado, cada estrutura unitária 3d concentra a luz solar sobre os receptores finais da radiação solar (tubulações (6) ou células (8)), abrangendo todo o espectro estacionário e diário de ângulos de incidência, sem necessidade de acompanhamento ativo do sol. a espessura da dita estrutura é muito reduzida devido ao fato de que ele aproveita as vantagens concentradoras não apenas de um, mas de três elementos óticos: sobre a base de plástico (12) encontra-se uma superfície altamente refletora (10), um holograma de reflexão (9) de ampla largura de banda espectral e angular, e um meio ótico transparente (11), com tais índices de refração e ângulo de inclinação que aprisiona a luz em seu interior por reflexão total interna (tir, na sigla em inglês). consegue-se assim diminuir notavelmente as perdas óticas e dirigir grande parte do espectro solar para o receptor de radiação.
