Abstract
um sistema e método são apresentados para a codificação de participantes em um cenário de conferência. em uma modalidade, áudio de participantes de conferência em um cenário de voz sobre ip pode ser recebido e processado pelo sistema. em uma modalidade, áudio pode ser recebido em uma forma comprimida e descomprimida para processamento. para cada participante, é gerado áudio de retorno, comprimido (se aplicável) e transmitido ao participante. o sistema pode reconhecer quando participantes estão usando o mesmo formato de codificação de áudio e estão, portanto, recebendo áudios que podem ser similares ou idênticos. o áudio pode apenas ser codificado uma vez ao invés de para cada participante. portanto, codificações redundantes são reconhecidas e eliminadas, resultando em menos uso da cpu.
