Abstract
MÓDULO DE LUZ DE FREIO PARA UM VEÍCULO, E, MÉTODO PARA ILUMINAR UM DISPOSITIVO DE LUZ Um módulo de luz de freio para um veículo, no qual o módulo inclui um alojamento, dispositivo de luz, sensor e unidade de controle eletrônico (ECU). O dispositivo de luz, sensor e ECU são portados pelo alojamento. A ECU é configurada com base, no mínimo em parte, em dados recebidos a partir do sensor para fornecer um sinal de potência que provoca a iluminação do dispositivo de luz. No mínimo em algumas modalidades, este arranjo permite a atuação da luz de freio, ou outro dispositivo de luz, em resposta à detecção de um evento de perigo, tal como uma desaceleração rápida do veículo. E, em no mínimo algumas modalidades, isto pode ser feito independentemente da atuação do pedal de freio pelo condutor.
