Abstract
resumo método de fabricação de composições viscoelásticas embaladas pela polimerização de materiais etilenicamente insaturados com o uso de radiação ionizante a presente invenção refere-se a métodos de formação de uma composição adesiva incluindo as etapas de (a) combinar uma mistura não desaerada compreendendo pelo menos um material etilenicamente-insaturado (co)polimerizável via radicais livres com uma embalagem passível de vedação, sendo que a embalagem contém a mistura não desaerada; (b) vedar a mistura não desaerada na embalagem para formar uma embalagem vedada; e (c) expor a mistura não desaerada na embalagem vedada para uma fonte de radiação ionizante por um tempo suficiente para iniciar a (co)polimerização de pelo menos uma porção de pelo menos um material etilenicamente-insaturado (co)polimerizável via radicais livres para formar uma composição adesiva na embalagem vedada. a (co)polimerização ocorre essencialmente não adiabaticamente. pelo menos uma porção da embalagem é passível de ser fundida e misturada com a composição adesiva de modo a fornecer uma composição adesiva revestível fluxível quando a embalagem vedada contendo a composição adesiva é aquecida a uma temperatura suficiente para derreter pelo menos uma porção da embalagem.
