resumo “aparelho e método para modular entrada de calor durante soldagem” trata-se de um sistema e método no qual um sistema de soldagem (100) modula a entrada de calor em uma junta de solda durante a soldagem mudando-se entre uma porção de forma de onda de soldagem de entrada de calor elevado (210) e uma porção de forma de onda de soldagem de entrada de baixo calor (220). o sistema (100) pode utilizar espessura e geometria de junta de solda detectada para variar a utilização das porções em forma de onda de baixo calor e de calor elevado (210, 220) para mudar o perfil de cordão de solda durante a soldagem. adicionalmente, a velocidade de alimentação de fio é mudada com as mudanças entre as porções de entrada de calor elevado e de entrada de baixo calor da forma de onda de soldagem (200).
