Abstract
PISTÃO COM GALERIA DE RESFRIAMENTO APERFEIÇOADA. Um pistão para um motor de combustão interna possui um corpo incluindo uma parede de combustão superior que tem uma superfície de combustão superior; uma parede externa cilíndrica com uma região de cinto de anel adjacente à dita superfície de combustão superior, e uma galeria de resfriamento anular fechada localizada em alinhamento radial com a região de cinto de anel. Um meio de resfriamento é contido na galeria de resfriamento. A galeria de resfriamento tem uma superfície interna incluindo uma porção radialmente mais externa que se estende ao longo da região de cinto de anel. A porção mais externa converge a partir da parede de combustão superior na direção de um dito eixo longitudinal central. Durante o movimento alternativo do pistão, o meio de resfriamento flui e permanece em contato com as paredes de galeria de resfriamento, assim, maximizando a capacidade para que o calor seja transferido da parede de combustão superior para o meio de resfriamento contido e do meio de resfriamento para o corpo de pistão, região de cinto de anel e por fim para o sistema de resfriamento do motor.
