resumo patente de invenção: "separador". a presente invenção refere-se a um separador para separar uma mistura multifásica que compreende um recipiente de pressão apoiado para rotação dentro de um envoltório contendo um gás que pode ser mantido em uma temperatura ou pressão elevadas. uma pluralidade de aletas disposta dentro do recipiente de pressão. o recipiente de pressão possuindo uma entrada, uma saída de primeira fase e uma pluralidade de saídas de segunda fase dispostas radialmente para fora da saída de primeira fase com relação a um eixo geométrico do separador. um regulador é fornecido na forma de bocais ativados por pressão para regular o fluxo através das saídas de segunda fase. em uso, uma mistura de sólidos e líquidos é alimentada para dentro do recipiente de pressão e o recipiente de pressão é girado dentro do gás fazendo com que os sólidos acumulem nas proximidades das saídas de segunda fase. os bocais ativados por pressão são repetidamente abertos e fechados para expelir os sólidos acumulados.
