Abstract

APARELHO E MÉTODO PARA COMUTAR FLUXOS DE MÍDIA DE TEMPO REAL. A presente invenção refere-se a um aparelho (1) para comutar fluxos de mídia de tempo real de uma ou muitas fonte(s) (Q1, Q2, Q3) para um ou muitos depósito(s) (S1, S2, S3). O aparelho (1) contém uma ou muitas porta(s) de origem (QA1, QA2, QA3) para conectar a uma ou muitas fonte(s) (Q1, Q2, Q3) assim como uma ou muitas porta(s) de depósito (SA1, SA2, SA3) para conectar a uma ou muitas porta(s) de depósito (S1, S2, S3). O aparelho (1) é preparado para prover um depósito de comutação (SS) e para comutá-lo para um fluxo de mídia de tempo real de uma primeira fonte (Q1). O depósito de comutação (SS) é preparado para receber o fluxo de mídia de tempo real da primeira fonte (Q1) em um formato comutado por pacote e para transmitir o fluxo recebido de mídia de tempo real em formato comutado por pacote, sendo que os pacotes são providos de um primeiro endereço de destino multipontos (IPMZS) alocado ao depósito de comutação (SS) durante a transmissão a fim de permitir uma conexão do um ou muitos depósito(s) (S2) com o fluxo de mídia de tempo real da primeira fonte (Q1) transmitido pelo depósito de comutação (SS). O depósito de comutação (SS) representa a fonte do fluxo de mídia de tempo real transmitido pelo depósito de comutação (SS) de ?ponto de vista? dos depósitos (S1, S2, S3) conectados ao aparelho, com os quais os depósitos (S1, S2, S3) podem conectar-se através do endereço de destino multipontos (IPMZS). No caso deste(a) depósito/fonte de comutação (SS) ser provido(a) comutável como elemento ou componente do aparelho (1), respectivamente, um processo de comutação transparente pode ser implantado no aparelho (1).
