Abstract
método para compressão de valores digitais de arquivos de imagem, áudio e/ou vídeo. um método para compressão diferencial de uma sequência de valores digitais adaptados para se evitar uma propagação de erro durante uma restauração de valores. o método compreende, para um primeiro valor inicial da sequência, o valor comprimido do primeiro valor ser igual ao primeiro valor, então, para cada valor inicial atual as etapas a seguir são realizadas: calcula-se a diferença entre o valor inicial atual e o valor descomprimido do valor inicial imediatamente precedente ao valor atual; então, calcula-se um valor comprimido da referida diferença usando-se uma função de compressão; então, calcula-se o valor descomprimido correspondente ao referido valor inicial atual; então, em que se aplicam as três etapas precedentes o valor imediatamente seguinte, se houver um; e, constitui-se uma sequência comprimida de valores comprimidos, cada um correspondente a um respectivo valor inicial.
