Abstract

método para determinar as quantidades de inoculantes a serem acrescentadas a uma fusão de ferro fundido. método para determinar as quantidades de inoculante a serem acrescentadas a uma fusão de ferro fundido, em um processo específico de fundição, compreendendo as etapas de: provisão de um suporte de amostra (1) e de um segundo suporte de amostra (2), cada qual possuindo um par térmica (3, 4), que é conectado com um equipamento de análise (5); o preenchimento de cada suporte de amostra (1,2) com uma quantidade de ferro fundido; o registro de uma primeira curva de resfriamento, durante a solidificação do ferro no primeiro suporte de amostra (1), e de uma segunda curva de resfriamento, durante a solidificação do ferro no segundo suporte de amostra (2); caracteerizado pelo fato de que um dos suportes de amostra, antes de ser preenchido com o ferro fundido, possui uma quantidade predeterminada de um inoculante colocada no mesmo, a qual representa o nível de saturação do inoculante, em um processo específico de fundição, sendo a quantidade de inoculante a ser acrescentada no processo específico de fundição, sendo a quantidade de inoculante a ser acrescenta no processo específico d fundição determinado com base na diferença entre a mais baixa temperatura eutética (te~ iow~), na primeira curva de resfriamento, e a mais baixa temperatura eutética, na segunda de resfriamento (te~ iow~).
