dispositivo e método para a separação magnética de um fluido. a invenção refere-se a um dispositivo e a um método para a separação magnética de um fluido que contém primeiras partículas a serem separadas do material magnético ou magnetizável e também segundas partículas de material não magnético ou não magnetizável. o dispositivo compreende pelo menos duas disposições de ímã para a geração respectiva de uma indução magnética b, que são dispostas em linha uma com a outra com relação a um eixo geométrico central m, onde as disposições de ímã vizinhas possuem uma disposição de polo oposta e são dispostas a uma distância d uma da outra para a geração de um campo cusp. o dispositivo também compreende pelo menos uma linha de transporte para transportar o fluido, o eixo geométrico longitudinal de cuja linha é feito de modo a estender, pelo menos na região das disposições de ímã, em um plano e alinhado de forma perpendicular com relação ao eixo geométrico central m entre as disposições de ímã vizinhas. a pelo menos uma linha de transporte possui pelo menos uma ramificação a jusante do eixo geométrico central m, observada na direção de transporte do fluido.
