Abstract
método de separação de minerais por luminescência excitada por raios x o método refere-se ao domínio de beneficiação de minérios e consiste em estabelecer o valor limite da intensidade do sinal de luminescência após decorrer o tempo predefinido depois da interrupção do impulso de radiação de excitação, efetuar o registro da intensidade do sinal de luminescência do mineral medindo a intensidade do sinal de luminescência após decorrer o tempo predefinido depois da interrupção de cada impulso de radiação, memorizar o valor obtido da intensidade para cada sinal de luminescência no caso de o sinal registrado exceder o valor limite estabelecido, comparar o valor medido no período corrente com os valores obtidos nos períodos anteriores, determinar o período em que a intensidade atingiu o seu valor máximo e, para determinar os parâmetros de separação, efetuar o tratamento daquele sinal de luminescência em que a intensidade medida atingiu o seu valor máximo, tomar a decisão de recuperar o mineral a ser concentrado no caso de os parâmetros de separação se situarem na faixa de valores predefinidos.
