Abstract
fibra com área real ampla e núcleo isento de ge de acordo com alguns concretizações , uma fibra de guia de ondas ópticas compreende: (i) um núcleo isento de ge com uma área real de 90<109>m^ 2^ a 160<109>m^ 2^, em um comprimento de onda de 1.550 nm, e um valor de <244> onde 12<243><243>, o referido núcleo compreendendo: (a) uma região de núcleo central , a qual se estende radialmente para fora de uma linha central a um raio r<syn> onde 0 <109><243>r<syn><243>2<109> e possui um perfil percentual do índice de refração relativo, <30><syn>(r) em <syn>, medido em relação à sílica pura onde -0,1<syn> <243><30>(r)<243>0,1<syn>, em que a região de núcleo central possui um percentual máximo do índice de refração relativo <30><syn>~ max~ (b) uma primeira região de núcleo anelar, a qual circunda e é diretamente adjacente à região de núcleo central, estende-se a um raio externo, r~ 1~ onde 4,8<syn><243>r~ 1~<243> 10 <109> e possui um perfil percentual do índice de refração relativo, <30>~ 1~(r) em % , medido em relação à sílica pura, bem como um índice de refração relativo mínimo <30>~ 2~~ min~, onde o índice dde refração relativo medido a um raio r = 2,5 <109> é : -0,15<243><30>~ 1~(r =2,5<109>)<243>0 e <30>~ 0~~ max~ <242><30>~ 1~( r = 2,5<109>); (c) uma segunda região anelar dopada com flúor , a qual circunda e é diretamente adjacente à primeira região de núcleo anelar , estende-se a um raio r~ 2~ onde 13 <109> <243> r~ 2~<243> 30<109> e possui um perfil percentual negativo do índice de refração relativo, <30>~ 2~(r) em %, medido em relação à sílica pura, onde um percentual mínimo do índice de refração relativpo de refração relativo <30>~ 2min~ é: <30>~ 2min~<syn><30>~ 1~(r=2,5 <109>) e 0,7<syn><syn><30>~ 2min~<syn>-0,28<syn>; (ii) um revestimento, o qual circunda o núcleo e possui um percentual do índice de refração relativo , <30>~ c~(r) em <syn>, medido em relação à sílica pura onde <30>~ c~(r) = <30>~ 2min~<syn>0,3<syn>; em que o perfil do índice de refração relativo da fibra óptica é selecionado a fim de conferir uma atenuação que não ultrapasse 0,175 db/km no comprimento de onda de 1.550 nm.
