Abstract

geração em larga escala de megacariócitos e plaquetas funcionais a partir de células-tronco embrionárias humanas sob condições livres de estroma. a presente invenção provê um método para geração de megacariócitos e plaquetas. em várias modalidades, o método envolve o uso de células-tronco embrionárias humanas derivadas de hemangioblastos para diferenciação em megacariócitos e plaquetas sob condição livre do soro e estroma. nesse sistema, as ctehs são conduzidas em direção a megacariócitos através de formação de corpo embrioide e diferenciação de hemangioblasto. é adicionalmente provido um método para tratamento de um sujeito necessitando de transfusão de plaquetas.
