Abstract

PEÇA DE CONEXÃO FEITA DE UM COMPOSTO DE GRAFITE E CARBONO REFORÇADO COM FIBRA DE CARBONO. A invenção refere-se a uma peça de conexão para conectar eletrodos de grafite compreendendo pelo menos uma região feita de grafite e pelo menos uma região feita de carbono reforçado com fibra de carbono, onde o grafite compreende menos de 10% em massa de fibras e o carbono reforçado com fibra de carbono compreende mais de 20% em massa de fibras de carbono. A peça de conexão compreende preferivelmente um corpo de grafite no formato de um cilindro ou cone duplo, onde existe uma pluralidade de recessos em formato de sulco no corpo de grafite que são preenchidos com o material feito de carbono reforçado por fibra de carbono possuindo um percentual de peso de fibras de carbono superior a 20% em massa.
