Abstract
DISPOSITIVO DE UMEDECIMENTO ELÉTRICO, MÉTODO DE FABRICAÇÃO DO DISPOSITIVO DE UMEDECIMENTO ELÉTRICO (200), MÉTODO DE OPERAR O DISPOSITIVO DE UMEDECIMENTO ELÉTRICO (200) A invenção se refere a um dispositivo de umedecimento elétrico sobre dielétrico (200). Isto é um dispositivo de umedecimento elétrico compreendendo uma ou mais células, em que cada célula compreende uma composição de umedecimento elétrico do primeiro e segundo fluidos imiscíveis, o primeiro fluido sendo uma solução eletrolítica (240), um primeiro eletrodo (230), separado da composição de umedecimento elétrico por um dielétrico (231), e uma fonte de tensão (260) para aplicar uma diferença de potencial de operação entre o primeiro eletrodo (230) e a solução eletrolítica para operar o dispositivo de umedecimento elétrico. De acordo com a invenção, o primeiro eletrodo (230) do dispositivo de umedecimento elétrico sobre dielétrico (200) compreende um metal de válvula, e a solução eletrolítica (240) é capaz de anodizar o metal de válvula para formar um óxido de metal na diferença de potencial de operação. Isto fornece o dispositivo de umedecimento elétrico sobre dielétrico (200) com propriedades de auto-reparação desta forma prevenindo o colapso do dielétrico. Como um resultado, o dispositivo de umedecimento elétrico pode ser operado em uma baixa tensão, e tem uma confiabilidade melhorada.
