6. Article of clothing, according to claim 5, characterized by the fact that the linings (5) communicate in a rear area (11) of the waistband (3), so that they form a continuous duct between the slits (6).

7. Article of clothing, according to claim 6, characterized by the fact that the strips (7) are formed from a portion of the same strip, which is mounted in the conduit, through which the central portion (15) of said strap is attached to the rear area (11) of the waistband (3).

8. Article of clothing according to claim 6 or

7, characterized by the fact that a non-extensible tape extends continuously between the flaps (10), so as to form each of the non-extensible elements (12) on each side of a central portion of said tape.

10. Article of clothing according to any one of claims 5 to 9, characterized by the fact that the flaps (10) are connected by means of a cord (14) which is mounted through eyelets (15) formed on said flaps .

Article of clothing according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the waistband (3) is equipped with a lining (5) on which an elastic strip (7) is mounted, with a portion of end attached to the waistband (3) and a front portion (9) equipped with a flap (10), the tightening of said waistband is accomplished by pulling and attaching said flap.

12. Article of clothing according to any one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that a lining (5) is formed outside the waistband (3) by attaching a wall (16) to said waistband.
