Abstract

A presente invenção se refere a um banco de veículo (10) com um dispositivo de airbag lateral que inclui: um dispositivo gerador de gás (54) fixado a um lado interno de uma estrutura lateral externa (22) no sentido da largura de um veículo, a qual é disposta em uma porção lateral (16A) sobre um lado externo de um encosto (16) no sentido da largura do veículo; um airbag lateral (70) que se infla e se desdobra de modo a se expandir ao longo da estrutura lateral externa (22) a partir de um lado frontal do veículo da estrutura lateral externa (22) no sentido da largura do veículo ao receber um gás proveniente do dispositivo gerador de gás (54) acomodado no airbag lateral (70); e uma porção de expansão de largura de inflação (70RA) que é provida no airbag lateral (70) e faz com que uma largura de inflação do airbag lateral (70) no sentido da largura do veículo se torne maior no lado de fora de uma superfície lateral (22A1) provida sobre um lado externo da estrutura lateral externa (22) no sentido da largura do veículo do que no lado de dentro da superfície lateral (22A1).
