Abstract

"DISPOSIçõES DE IMAGENS MúLTIPLAS PARA DISPOSITIVOS COM TELA MONTADOS SOBRE A CABEçA". é revelado um dispositivo com tela montado sobre a cabeça (HMD - Head Mounted Displays) que utiliza uma única tela de exibição de vídeo para transportar imagens para os dois olhos. Múltiplas reflexões são criadas ao iluminar a tela de exibição de uma pluralidade de direções, ou ao iluminar a tela de exibição com feixes de luz de diferentes polarizações. As reflexões da tela de exibição são focalizadas para reduzir o volume de subdivisões e depois redirecionadas por uma pluralidade de superfícies reflexivas localizadas próximas do ponto focal das imagens de exibição. Diferentes imagens poderão ser enviadas para cada olho do usuário ao entrelaçar múltiplos fluxos de dados para a tela e ligar cada fluxo de dados com direção de iluminação especifica, ou polarização específica.
