Abstract
"TRATAMENTO DE UMA CORRENTE DE REFUGOS ATRAVéS DA PRODUçãO E UTILIZAçãO DE GáS OXIIDROGENADO". Métodos e sistemas para o tratamento de uma corrente de refugos (202) , em um sistema de tratamento de refugos (204), envolvem a realização de um processo unitário (206), efetuando-se por contato da corrente de refugo (202) com o gás rico em oxiidrogênio (214), gerado no local por um gerador de gás oxiidrogenado (207). O gerador de gás (207) envolve preferivelmente a aplicação de um sinal elétrico pulsado em uma série de eletrodos dispostos bem próximos um do outro, que submergem na corrente de refugos (202), para dissociar um componente da água da corrente de refugos (202 ), por meio da qual produz-se o gás rico em oxiidrogênio (214, 220). A operação do gerador de gás (207) na corrente de refugos (202) pode concluir um ou mais dos processos unitários (206) para o tratamento de refugos, tais como o condicionamento, estabilização, espessamento e desidratação, entre outros. Pelo menos uma parte do gás rico em oxiidrogênio (220) pode ser transportado para um segundo uso (222) no sistema de tratamento de refugo, tal como uma fonte de substância combustível para incineração ou geração de energia, por exemplo.
