A camada de absorção/transferência forma uma folha de transporte para uma ou mais camadas absorventes dentro do invólucro formado pelo forro voltado para o corpo e a chicana voltada para a peça de roupa. A folha de transporte sustenta uma primeira camada absorvente que contata uma segunda camada absorvente.
