Abstract

"MéTODO E CéLULA DE ELETRO-RECUPERAçãO PARA PRODUçãO ELETROLìTICA DE ALUMìNIO METáLICO". A presente invenção diz respeito a um método para produção eletrolítica de alumínio metálico a partir de um eletrólito (3) que compreende óxido e alumínio, realizando eletrólise que compreende pelo menos um anodo inerte (1) e pelo menos um catodo (2), formando assim parte de uma célula de eletro-recuperação. O anodo desprende gás oxigênio e o catodo tem alumínio descarregado nele no processo de eletrólise, onde o dito gás oxigênio força um padrão de fluxo de eletrólito. O gás oxigênio é direcionado para escoar para os sulcos do anodo e é drenado para fora do ambiente interpolar, e estabelece assim um padrão de fluxo de eletrólito entre os eletrodos (1) e (2) e entre e sobre os anodos (1). A invenção também diz respeito a conjunto de anodo e uma célula de eletro-recuperação.
