Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA RECUPERAR METAIS VALIOSOS A PARTIR DE MINéRIOS DE LATERITA E CONCENTRADOS QUE ESTãO CONTAMINADOS COM FERRO". Expõe-Se um processo para recuperar metais valiosos a partir de minérios de laterita e concentrados que estão contaminados com ferro. O processo inclui reduzir íons férricos a íons ferrosos em um licor de lixiviação que contém um metal valioso e ferro em solução utilizando um agente redutor, neutralizar o licor para reduzir a concentração de ácido livre em solução a níveis adequados para precipitação de níquel; e precipitar o metal valioso utilizando-se o agente redutor e partículas de semente sob condições de processo, incluindo uma ou mais dimensões de partícula de semente, composição de semente, e temperatura, que são selecionadas de forma a elevarem ao máximo a precipitação de níquel e reduzirem ao mínimo a precipitação de ferro.
