Abstract

"PRóTESE DE JOELHO". A invenção refere-se a uma prótese de joelho que compreende uma parte de prótese femoral (1), a qual forma um par de superfícies deslizantes condilares (5), uma parte tibial (2) compreendendo superfícies deslizantes tibiais (9) que cooperam com as superfícies deslizantes condilares (5), além de uma parte de acoplamento (10), que conecta as partes femoral e tibial (1, 2), de modo que elas possam girar em torno de um eixo de rotação (12) que corre aproximadamente paralelo à tíbia. Se as partes femoral e tibial (1, 2) tiverem o mesmo alinhamento antero-posterior, a carga é transferida por uma região central (14) das superfícies deslizantes tibiais (9). De acordo com a invenção, a superfície deslizante tibial (9) se inclina para cima na frente da referida região (14) de contato normal e, também, atrás da referida região, de forma tal que, quando as duas partes protéticas (1, 2) girarem uma contra a outra, cada uma das superfícies deslizantes condilares (5) permaneça em contato com a superfície deslizante tibial (9) correspondente, na frente ou atrás da região (14) de contato normal.
