Abstract

"MéTODOS PARA TRATAR MICROORGANISMOS SéSSEIS EM UM BIOFILME EM UM SISTEMA DE áGUA, PARA TRATAR áGUA, PARA REMEDIAR um SISTEMA DE áGUA TéPIDA ABRIGANDO MICROORGANISMOS, COMPOSIçãO PARA TRATAR áGUA, COMPOSIçãO ESTáVEL NO ARMAZENAMENTO E CONCENTRADO". A invenção refere-se a métodos e composições para tratar sistemas de água, particularmente sistemas de água recirculante contaminados por um bio-filme contendo microorganismos sésseis. o método inclui as etapas de formar uma enzima condicionada com boro e contatar o biofilme com a dita enzima condicionada com boro, planctonizando assim os microorganismos. A enzima condicionada com boro retém um nível de atividade de pelo menos 40% da atividade inicial da enzima não condicionada durante pelo menos duas horas após contatar o bio-filme, quer na presença, quer na ausência de um biocida ou inibidor de corrosão que normalmente iria desativar a enzima. Em concretizações preferidas, um biocida é adicionado à enzima condicionada. O método e as composições também são aplicáveis à remediação de sistemas de água tépida nos quais um bio-filme pode abrigar patogênicos, tais como Legionella séssil.
