Abstract

"MéTODO PARA PRODUçãO DE UM AçO INOXIDáVEL MARTENSìTICO". A presente invenção refere-se a um método de produção de um aço inoxidável martensítico. O método compreende as seguintes etapas (a) a (c): (a) preparar um aço tendo uma composição química consistindo em percentual em massa, C:0,003 a 0,050%, Si:0,05 a 1,00%, Mn:0,10 a 1,50%, Cr:10,5 a 14,0%, Ni:1,5 a 7,0%, V:0,02 a 0,20%, N:0,003 a 0,070%, Ti: não mais que 0,300% e o saldo sendo Fe e impurezas, e P e S entre as impurezas são não mais que 0,035% e não mais que 0,010% respectivamente, e que ela também satisfaça a seguinte equação: ([Ti]-3,4x[N])/[C]>4,5 onde [C], [N] e [Ti] significam os teores (percentual em massa) de C, N e Ti, respectivamente, (b) aquecer o aço a uma temperatura entre 850 e 950<198>C, (c) resfriar o aço, e (d) temperar o aço a uma temperatura entre Ac1-35<198>C e Ac1+35<198>C e em uma condição de não mais que 0,5 do valor da variação <sym>LMP1 nas características de amolecimento LMP1, que é definida pela seguinte equação: LMP1 =Tx(20+1,7xlog(t))x10^ -3^ onde T é a temperatura de tempera (K), e t é o tempo de têmpera (hora). O aço pode também conter de 0,2 ao 0,3% de Mo.
