Abstract

"PROCESSO DE PREPARAçãO DE UMA ESTEIRA DE FIOS CORTADOS E ESTEIRA DE FIOS DE VIDRO CORTADOS". A invenção refere-se a um processo de fabricação de uma esteira de fios cortados que pode ser utilizada para o reforço de resinas termoendurecíveis. O processo compreende uma etapa de obtenção de uma dispersão em uma água do processo de fios cortados e secos após aplicação de revestimento por um líquido de aplicação de revestimento que compreende um organossilano e um agente colante, depois, uma etapa de formação de uma tela por passagem da dispersão sobre um tecido de formação através do qual é drenada a água do processo, os fios sendo retidos sobre o dito tecido e depois uma etapa de aplicação de um ligante e depois uma etapa de tratamento térmico. São obtidas esteiras reforçadas de fio cortado com massa por superfície regular e geralmente compreendida entre 50 e 1100 g/m^ 2^ . Os fios cortados têm pouca perda de filamentos dentro da esteira.
