Abstract

"MEIOS TERMINAIS DE EXTREMIDADE EM UMA PERNA DE TENSãO E ACOPLAMENTO PARA USO ENTRE TAIS TERMINAIS DE EXTREMIDADE E UMA PONTA DE CONEXãO". O pedido trata de meios terminais de extremidade para as pernas de tensão (10) feitos de materiais não metálicos tais como um material composto. A perna de tensão (10) é formada por um número de cordões (5) que constituem os elementos de suporte de carga da perna de tensão (10). Os cordões (5) são torcidos (assentados) sobre a linha central longitudinal da perna de tensão (10) por um comprimento de assentamento predeterminado e cada cordão (5) por sua vez é constituído de uma pluralidade de fios (7) de material composto possuindo fibras de reforço incrustadas. Os fios (7) por sua vez são torcidos em torno de si mesmos como uma corda de cordões. Os cordões (5) terminam perto de um corpo de recepção (16) que tem meios de conexão e um número de aberturas trespassantes que encerram os respectivos cordões. Cada cordão (5) é passado através da respectiva abertura (8) no corpo de recepção (16) sem ser fixado a ela.
