Abstract
"MéTODO DE PREDIçãO DE MOVIMENTO COMPENSADO PARA USO NA CODIFICAçãO DA SEQuêNCIA DE VìDEO DIGITAL, CODIFICADOR E DECODIFICADOR DE VìDEO PARA CODIFICAR/DECODIFICAR UMA SEQuêNCIA DE VìDEO DIGITAL USANDO PREDIçãO DE MOVIMENTO COMPENSADO, TERMINAL DE MULTIMìDIA, E, CODEC DE VìDEO". Um processo de codificação de vídeo de movimento compensado que permite que uma seq³ência de vídeo com um componente de movimento global seja codificada de um modo eficiente. Um codificador de vídeo (600) é disposto de modo a atribuir a macroblocos a serem codificados modos de codificação específicos, incluindo um modo de pulo, que é usado para indicar um de dois tipos possíveis de movimento de macroblocos: (a) movimento zero, ou (b) movimento global ou regional. à medida que cada macrobloco é codificado, uma região anteriormente codificada que circunda o macrobloco é examinada e as características de movimento naquela região são determinadas.
