Abstract
"CéLULA DE COMBUSTìVEL E MéTODO DE OPERAçãO DA MESMA". é provida uma célula de combustível que possui uma pilha de células unitárias, cada célula unitária incluindo: um eletrólito condutor de íons hidrogênio; um ânodo e um catodo, com um eletrólito condutor de íon hidrogênio disposto entre eles; um separador eletrocondutor no lado do ânodo em contato com o ânodo; e um separador eletrocondutor no lado do catodo em contato com o catodo, em que o separador eletrocondutor no lado do ânodo tem entalhes de passagem de gás combustível, voltados para o ânodo, para suprir um gás combustível ao ânodo, o separador eletrocondutor no lado do catodo tem entalhes de passagem de gás oxidante, voltadas para o catodo, para suprir um gás oxidante ao catodo, e pelo menos os entalhes de passagem de gás combustível ou os entalhes de passagem de gás oxidante têm um diâmetro equivalente não menor do que 0,79 mm e não maior do que 1,3 mm para cada entalhe.
