Abstract

"MéTODO PARA REDUZIR A EMISSãO DE PRODUTOS GASOSOS PARA A ATMOSFERA". Uma forma de realização da invenção proporciona novos métodos para reduzir a geração de emissões de NOx em processos industriais. Esses métodos incluem as etapas de: alimentar uma mistura de alimentação de reação a um vaso de reação que possui uma entrada e uma saída; produzir um produto de reação que inclui uma corrente quente de gases misturados no vaso de reação; produzir uma corrente resfriada de gases misturados direcionando a corrente quente de gases misturados para um sistema de trocador de calor; separar a corrente resfriada de gases misturados em uma corrente resfriada de produto cru e uma corrente resfriada de rejeitos; produzir uma corrente pré-aquecida de rejeitos direcionando a corrente resfriada de rejeitos para um sistema de trocador de calor; e incinerar a corrente pré-aquecida de rejeitos direcionando a mesma para um incinerador. One embodiment of the invention provides novel methods for reducing NOx emission generation in industrial processes. These methods include the steps of: feeding a reaction feed mixture to a reaction vessel having an inlet and an outlet; producing a reaction product that includes a hot stream of mixed gases in the reaction vessel; produce a chilled mixed gas stream by directing the hot mixed gas stream into a heat exchanger system; separate the chilled stream of mixed gases into a chilled stream of raw product and a chilled stream of tailings; produce a preheated tailings stream by directing the cooled tailings stream to a heat exchanger system; and incinerate the preheated tailings stream by directing it to an incinerator. By incinerating the preheated tailings stream, a decreased amount of NOx emissions is produced compared to the amount of NOx emissions that would be produced by the incineration of the cooled tailings stream.
