Que compreende pistões com bases curtas possuindo uma cabeça absolutamente chata; um cabeçote do comando de válvulas, cuja superfície inferior é absolutamente chata; e um intervalo (X) entre a cabeça do pistão e a superfície inferior do cabeçote do comando de válvulas quando o pistão está em seu PMS, que forma a câmara de combustão, por exemplo, o espaço compreendido entre superfície superior do pistão ou a cabeça do pistão, as paredes do cilindro, e a superfície chata inferior do cabeçote do comando de válvulas.
